Jim is a lifelong Episcopalian who grew up in Cincinnati. He spent 26 years as an officer in the USAF flying many aircraft including the B-52 and serving as Base Commander in England. He became a Mental Health counselor in retirement and Director of Brown County Counseling and lives on a farm in Brown County. He has been a member of COCL for about 10 years and currently serves as Treasurer. He is a member of St. Mary’s, Hillsboro where he served as Senior Warden for many years. He has served on many boards including the Global Episcopal Mission Network. His wife Betty and he have 4 children, 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
