The Rev. Joseph Kovitch

The Rev. Joseph Kovitch

Joseph (Father Joe, The Rev) is the Priest-in-Charge as well as the “Holy Listener” St. Matthew’s Episcopal Parish in Westerville.  Joe is the sacramental leader of St. Matthew’s Pray, Think, Love movement grounded at the church’s Episcopal House and Sunday worship in the upper level banquet room at Old Bag of Nails Pub.

Joseph was ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America prior to serving in the Episcopal Church. He received his Doctorate of Ministry from St. Mary Seminary Center for Pastoral Leadership in 2005. He and his spouse Marie have been married for 29 years. They have two sons: Jesse and Zachary.

Joe’s ministries and life are grounded in love. In his own words, Joe loves God, seeks to live such Christ-like love, and devotes himself and those he serves to learn how to be Jesus to the community.
